The opportunity
Making more room for nature in the Test Valley
Broadlands Estate sits within the Test Valley, where farmland, woodland and the River Test come together to create a rich and varied landscape. The Estate has been shaped and cared for over generations, with farming still an important part of the landscape today.
The land we’re working with is currently a mix of cattle-grazed grassland and arable fields. We’re exploring how 11.46 hectares could become richer and more varied, with plans to improve grassland and create areas of scrub and trees.
