Having specialised in biomonitoring and science communication, Biodiversity Net Gain represented an opportunity to help bridge the gap between conservation and societal aims, fostering collaboration between sectors that have traditionally been viewed as opposing. Working with Biofarm through the emergence of BNG has given me valuable insight into how nature can benefit from commodification, if we continue to prioritise ecological integrity.
